About
Toddler Time is a drop-off enrichment program designed specifically for two-year-olds, providing a nurturing and engaging environment where young children can begin to build independence and social skills. Running from September through June, this program focuses on the importance of free play, exploration, and early learning in a warm, supportive setting. Each session is held at the YWCA Darien/Norwalk from 9:15 to 11:15 am, with small class sizes limited to 8 children and guided by two experienced teachers to ensure personalized attention and care. Families can choose a 2-day schedule, either Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday, and have the option to add Friday for a 3-day program, offering flexibility to meet different needs. The curriculum emphasizes hands-on activities, creative expression, and opportunities for children to interact with peers, fostering confidence and a love of learning. An active YWCA membership is required for participation, ensuring a strong community connection and access to additional resources. If you are not already a member, please join the YWCA before enrolling your child in Toddler Time. This program is ideal for families seeking a safe, fun, and developmentally appropriate introduction to group learning for their toddlers. The session runs from September 2, 2025, to June 12, 2026, following the Darien Public School calendar, with closures for holidays and school breaks as specified.
